Message from the Recruitment Chair

Over the years Alpha Kappa Psi has built a solid foundation on campus in which we use to expand our network and promote a professional atmosphere. That being said, at the end of the day, we are a still fraternity and just like every other college student, we each value our social lives. As a brother of a Co-ed professional fraternity, you can expect that over time you will constantly grow as a person and develop yourself into a skilled young professional. We are able to find that perfect balance between enhancing our skills and having a damn good time. Our main objective is to simply “Work Hard, Play Hard” and that is what we aim to do. You will meet people that you call your brothers (yes, even the girls) and build relationships that will last well beyond college. Your college years are such a significant time in your life. During the most exciting yet trying times you experience through these years, there will always be brothers to share the happiness with as well as having a strong support system to turn to.

As a Ramapo college-grad continuing to get my Masters, I often find myself looking back at my undergrad years: The times I have spent, the memories I made and how much I’ve grown in 4 years. Although it’s an overused cliché, college is really the best time of your life and for those who are looking to get jobs right after graduation, college is the most crucial. Joining Alpha Kappa Psi was single handedly the best decision I have ever made because I wanted to surround myself with motivated, driven and like-minded people who I can also see myself just hanging out after class with and chillin’ on the weekends. Again, sounds like another cliché, but it is true. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by our tables during common hours or even approach a brother in letters in the hallway, we are all more than happy to answer any questions you have about our process or the fraternity. You can also just text or call me directly at 609-649-8744. I really am looking forward to meeting you at any of our recruitment events.
